that I expelled my last working ovary last night watching the Aerosmith DVD. I mean: Joe Perry + black leather trousers + black shirt + a lot of naked chest = *SPLAT* XDDDDD (Those who have around for a while are aware that I lost my first ovary in Rosario and that John Taylor and his wriggling eyebrows in 'A View To A Kill' are to blame XD)

Btw, I discovered this line in a song that's on the DVD and I loved it:

Right now I'm looking for information on Freud's topics and Gardner's theory of the multiple intelligences for my Psychology final. Then I have to go to a friend's house to get some Phylosophy copies I didn't get during the year... *sighs in defeat* Thank God it's almost over. But then again, classes will start again at the end of the month, so... *groans*

I need a hunky blond goalkeeper to keep me entertained when I get bored of studying too hard. XDDDD

#1- I'm sick. Woohoo. After the cold Saturday, and the hot Sunday under the sun, I knew something was going to happen. And it did. My throat is beyond sore and feels like I've got a tennis ball stuck in there, so swollen it is.

#2- epee_girl, this should make you VERY happy: I'm working on my Eve-JT fic. I'm currently working on the first chapter, no more than that, but that's something! :D

#3- An idea is making its way from the deepest, darkest, corners of my mind, inspired by this post I made ages ago and my Power Station poster. Any ideas? They're more than welcome. *wink wink*

#4- No, I haven't forgotten my report. I'm working on it, at the same time I'm studying for my first final, working, trying to get the aforementioned fic going, and having a life. It'll come soon, fear not! ;)

Birthday Message from John

I was born on June 20, 1960. Another era. The Beatles hadn't happened yet. On my fourth birthday I had a party in the back garden (or 'yard' as we would say in the US) and got given a yellow truck. Sometimes, in the summer, planes from the war such as Spitfires or Lancaster bombers could be seen and heard overhead. I didn't know at the time how memorable that would be.

I didn't love school. I like to say today that I would have been better suited to one on one tutorials, like home schooling or something, but who wouldn't.. I remember birthday gifts such as Thunderbird transfer kits, Airfix models which my Dad would build for me and a leather soccer ball which got kicked into the yard of neighbour (and resident bastard) Les Taphouse who caught the damn thing and wouldn't give it back. He was a copper too...

If nostalgia was food I would never go hungry. I love the stuff. Some people consider it a sickness, but not me. I love to spend time in the past. Sure, there's plenty cool about today, which is, like, my forty-seventh birthday, but like Christmas, it's doubtful there will ever be as much fun and excitement around this day now as there was when I was young. Aint that the way it is...

Having said that, I love my life and everyone in it. Everyday I think to myself, how come I got the golden ticket?

So thanks to everyone that has ever made my birthday rock, from my Mom and Dad, to Atlanta, and Gela of course, and Travis and Zoe; the band and all of our esteemed helpers: and of course, to all of you out there for even caring. Today is a good day!

Remember my last post, when I told you about the Flash Gordon OST in LP? Well, I walked past that same place today and guess what I found?

I was checking the stalls, since there were more today, when all of a sudden my JT radar went WILD. Sensing the alarm, I looked around and BAM! Pouty!John welcomed me in all his glory. :D

I couldn't help myself - I walked to the stall, asked the man there if it was okay to check the LPs ('Sure! It's one of the few things still for free in this world!' he told me XD) and yes, epee_girl, I HAD TO TOUCH IT! XDDDDDDDDDD So now you know: I would never miss a chance to grope John Taylor, even if it's just him in the cover of a LP. XDDDDDDDDD Not that you didn't know that already. XDDD

I didn't really see much... There was 'Notorious' (or 'Notorio', since it was in Spanish :P), some Rick Wakeman LP and by the third one, again my JT radar went crazy: 'Decade' was there too. I SERIOUSLY have to go back there one day and check what I can find. :D If you want me to check them and give you a review, epee_girl, let me know and I'll go one Sunday and check the pile thoroughly. :D
