Ruby Tuesday
New Murphy’s law: If you take a CD to listen at work because you think you’re gonna have an easy day, everyone will come in asking for information whenever you’re listening to your favourite song. That applies for the damn phone as well.

I know, I should NOT take CDs to work, but Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually very calm days. And if you consider that my stereo hasn’t miraculously repaired itself yet, :) then I have to bring them to work with me if I want to listen to them.

If you haven’t ever listened to Nightwish, do it. It might take one or two times listening the CD until you can finally ‘digest’ it, but once you do, you won’t regret it. I personally recommend ‘Wishmaster’ if you are in a Conan The Barbarian mood *LOL*, ‘Over The Hills And Far Away’ (Gary Moore’s song) if you search for some ‘familiar’ territory and ‘Dead Boy’s Poem’ if you want music to give you goose bumps. ‘Swanheart’ is beautiful too. The combination of Tarja, an opera singer, with melodic metal music is just great. Not too heavy that you’d run away scared, though. :P

Enough music. Now to the question that’s been nagging me all day: how can one man (as in Orlando Bloom) make me step out of the shower, dripping water and shampoo to watch some five-second clip about him? Because I’m nothing but a teenybopper, I guess. Hormonal? Maybe. Obsessive? Definitely! I guess I have to make clear that my mom shouted ‘ORLANDO BLOOM!’ in first place, which made me rush out of the bathroom, barely stopping to grab a towel. :)

Jocelyn, I’ve been meaning to ask you… How do I change the font of the entries without messing everything up? And how can I change the link so you don’t have to host the layout? Not that I mind, I just don’t want to steal your Photobucket space unnecessarily. :) If I get inspired (and if I have the time) I might try my luck at making layouts with Corel one of these days.

I might post ‘Wynter’ in MITM this week if I get to type all the chapters I have written until now. I also have to figure out how to continue ‘AYTM’ from now on. Not that there are many options *grins* but what I’m actually trying to decide is whether the next chapter should jump forward in time to a couple of days before Tina gives birth to her baby and briefly tell what happened in between, or write a couple of chapters about the in-between itself. I’m almost set on the first option, though. Oh, I also came up with the ending, that was quite blurry in my mind. :P I know what you’re thinking: how can she write something without knowing the ending? I actually knew what I wanted, but now HOW I wanted it to happen.

In the meantime, there is this story line that’s been going around in my head since last year, helped a lot by a Darkness’ song called ‘Love Is Only A Feeling’. It has slowly taken shape, going in one direction at first and then in the other, but now that the most of it is more or less settled, I still don’t know whether to write a main story and a sequel, write three kinda short stories, or make one long one. Decisions, decisions… I might need your advise, [info]dyoselin :) I really like the idea of the three stories, though. They would be mostly inspired by three different songs: HIM’s ‘Wicked Game’, The Darkness’ ‘Love is Only A Feeling’ and Bon Jovi’s ‘Wild Is the Wind’.

Gotta go now. Gotta email my boss… although whether he’s actually going to read it is something else. I guess my email will vegetate in his inbox until he gets his computer fixed…

Bye!
